Time to cook!

Small Space? No Problem!

Utilize your space by organizing your items. I have one shelf for all my pasta, noodles, and rice. Another for my canned veggies, soups, etc. This will help when you are looking for ingredients.

What to Expect

I am posting recipes with affordable items and easy instructions.

Shopping for Deals

Stocking up on items when on sale is key. I suggest also keeping a log of the items you buy so you can easily plan meals for your family. I use my phone, then when shopping I can use it as a guide.

Use What You Already Have

Hate throwing away food that has expired? This is something we often struggle with-I use a log to track what I have, and when it is good through. Things with long shelf lives are nice to stock up on when on sale. This helps me because then I can plan out meals around expiration dates too.

Prepping for the Future

Planning ahead during busy times in your schedule is key. I like to stock up on meat that can be frozen. Another tip i have is when making something that can be frozen like soups or lasanga I make a double batch and freeze one. This can then be easily re-heated by my husband another time.
